There Are Three Distinct Programs At Our Training Center...

Traditional Taekwon-Do is the primary discipline taught at the Taekwon-Do Center. All methods and practices are that of GRANDMASTER KWON, JAE-HWA, an original pioneer and world renowned leader of Taekwon-Do.

All Taekwon-Do classes are taught by Master Luciano, a 5th degree black belt and student of GRANDMASTER KWON, JAE-HWA.  Master Luciano has mentored students for many years and has received recognition in the Martial Arts community for his contribution to Taekwon-Do and to his students.

In the spirit of the Martial Arts, we are also privileged to present  AIKI-JUJITSU, taught by Grandmaster Joseph Torres.  This discipline is different in nature but identical in its pursuit of discipline, fitness, health and the focused mind. Classes are available at specific times during the week.  This program operates independently and has no affiliation with Grandmaster Kwon or the Taekwon-Do Center.  Please see details below.

The Traditional Taekwon-Do Center operates throughout the year. Since the registration for each program is ongoing, students must meet the appropriate age requirement prior to registration.  All student will be required to read and understand the school rules.

Please Note: Class schedules and tuition rates are subject to change.

1) Taekwon-Do Program

Children

This program is designed for students from ages five through seven years.  There is one scheduled session each week.

Children practice together on Thursday afternoons at 3:30PM and on Saturday mornings at 10:00AM. Class duration is approximately 60 minutes. It has been our experience that longer and more frequent classes is not necessary for this age group to insure proper introduction and foundation in the Martial Arts.  Children work on the skills needed to advance to the Junior Program.  There is a focus on discipline, concentration, attention span, physical balance, and a wide range of basic kicking, blocking and striking techniques.

Tuition: $55/month.  Rank eligibility at this level: 10th Kup White Belt - 9th Kup White Belt.

Juniors

This program is designed for students from ages eight through twelve years.  There are four scheduled sessions each week.

Juniors practice together on Monday, Wednesday and Friday afternoons at 3:30PM or evenings at 7:00PM on the same days. Class duration is approximately 60 minutes.  This is a serious martial arts program.  Skills learned here are similar to the adult program taught with an approach that is appropriate for this age group.

Tuition: $80/month.  Rank eligibility at this level: 10th Kup White Belt - 3rd Kup Blue Belt.

Adults

This program is designed for students thirteen years and older.  There are eight scheduled sessions each week.

Adults practice together on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays at 8:00PM; on Thursdays at 7:00PM and 8:00PM; and on Saturdays at 11:00AM. Young adults (age 13 - 18) may also practice at the after school sessions on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays at 3:30PM. Class duration is approximately 60 minutes.  This is an intense program that focuses on the art of Taekwon-Do, body shaping, cardio-vascular health, self-defense, fighting techniques, flexibility, defensive strategies and speed training.  Adults work at their own pace according to their age and physical ability.   Everyone progresses and improves.  Positive results become evident quickly.

Tuition: $95/month.  Rank eligibility at this level: 10th Kup White Belt - Black Belt levels.

2) Fitness Program   Tell Me More

This program was designed for men and women interested in physical fitness classes taught early in the morning. In this program, we use the fitness portion of Taekwon-Do training as well as kickboxing drills to sharpen the body and the mind.  As a result, participants will benefit by learning self-defense skills while improving their physical and mental health.
